Correction Policy for Kashi Khabar
Kashi Khabar (hereinafter referred to as “ Kashi Khabar” / “we” / “our”) is responsible to its readers and through this correction policy would like to inform what steps we take to correct any incorrect information published on our website. We are accountable to our readers and consider it our responsibility to inform them by making corrections as soon as possible.

Basic Concept

We try our best to present news based on complete and correct information, which is available to us at that time. If we come across any kind of mistake, we try to correct it immediately. We not only update the content on the website but also provide corrections or clarity on social media platforms and sometimes also publish editor notes explaining what the mistake was and how it was corrected. If there is a major mistake that leads to spreading misinformation, we apologize to our readers at the appropriate time.

Updating reports

Whenever we make an update or correction to a story, we add a note to the story so readers are aware. If an important error is corrected or a new update is included, we add a note such as “[Correction: updated information]” in bold at the top of the story to clarify what was changed. Our readers can also send corrections by emailing us at vishalkjohare10@gmail.com. There is also an option to suggest corrections below each story.

Correction

If we make a substantial correction to an article, photo caption, headline, graphic, video or other content, we immediately publish a clear correction notice explaining why the change was made.

Clarification

If our reporting is factually correct but the language is not clear or sufficient, we improve the language and add clarity. Also, if we did not initially include a comment or feedback that was added later, we provide a clarification.

Editor’s Notes

If a correction calls into question the content of the entire article or raises a significant ethical issue, an editor’s note is added explaining the issue. This note is approved by a senior editor.

Other correction policies

If a reader points out an error in the comments, our team may notify us of a correction there. Incorrect information on social media is also corrected or removed as soon as it is found. We do not blame individual reporters or editors for errors.

Reporting of errors

If you find an error in a news story, you can report it through the “Suggest a Correction” feature or by emailing us directly at vishalkjohare10@gmail.com

Take-down Requests

We generally do not accept take-down requests. If the accuracy of a story is questioned, we investigate and publish a correction if necessary. We update or follow-up our previous coverage if appropriate, but do not remove the entire story.

In the case of publicly available personal information, take-down requests are only considered when there is a physical threat to the individual.

Content Correction Assistance

If you notice any mistake or want correction, please send the required details to us. We will update the content and photographs immediately. For correction, send the link and details of the story to vishalkjohare10@gmail.com.
