The name of the winner of the 72nd Miss World has been announced. 21-year-old Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand won the title. Nandini Gupta of India managed to make it to the top 20 out of 108 contestants, but she could not make it to the top 8. She was eliminated from the top 8.
